| ℹ️ Updated in version 15.0: Overgrowth Charms have been simplified to a single type. The old Small, Large, and Huge Charms have been retired. . Updated in version 15.1: You can now buy up to 3 additional Charms per day from the Waystation vending machine using Tier 3 resources. |
Overgrowth can appear in your Waystation over time, taking up build space. Waystation Overgrowth Charms are used to clear it. As of version 15.0, there is only one type of Charm — the number required scales with the size of the overgrowth, similarly to how Tree Medicine works for Waystation trees.
How to get Overgrowth Charms
| Source | Cost | Purchase limit |
| Village shop | 1,000 coins each | 1 per player |
| Waystation vending machine | 5 Tier 3 resources each (random type) | 3 per player |
Because each player can buy multiple Charms per day across both sources, larger overgrowths benefit from the whole Waystation contributing. The more players chip in, the lower the effective cost per person and the faster the overgrowth is cleared.
| ⚠️ If you had old Small, Large, or Huge Overgrowth Charms, they were removed and the coins you paid for them were refunded via in-game mail. |
How many Charms do I need?
Inspect the overgrowth in your Waystation to see exactly how many Charms are required. Small patches need fewer; large overgrowths need more. There is no longer a need to match a specific Charm size to the overgrowth — one type covers everything.
| 💡 Tip: Coordinate with your Waystationmates using the Bulletin Board to pool Charms and clear large overgrowths together in fewer days. |
How is this different from the old system?
| Old system (before 15.0) | New system (15.0 onward) |
| Three Charm types: Small, Large, Huge | One universal Charm type |
| Fixed Charm matched to overgrowth size | Quantity of Charms scales with overgrowth size |
| Higher individual cost for large overgrowths | Same cost per Charm; more Charms needed for bigger patches |
| Players needed to trade coins to pool funds | Each player buys their own Charm daily — no trading needed |
