How does crafting work?

Spirit Crossing has multiple types of crafting stations that let you make furniture, structures, clothing, gifts, and more. All crafting in Waystation crafting tables is now instant — no waiting required.

Crafting Station Types

• Home Crafting Table — personal crafting in your home, holds up to 200 installed recipes.
• Waystation Crafting Tables — community crafting with instant results; includes Joule's and Amano's specific stations.
• Spirit Cauldron — used for crafting Tree Saplings and Spirit food.
• Gizmo Crafting Workbench — for Signs and specialty items.

Crafting Happiness

Crafting Stations have a Happiness level. Happier Crafting Stations produce objects with higher Storm Resistance, meaning they hold up better against Waystation Storms. You can check a crafted item's Storm Resistance by inspecting it.

Recipe Limits

Your home crafting table can hold up to 200 recipes.

Known Issues with Crafting

• Players can install recipes that require higher-level crafting tables on basic crafting tables. The team is investigating this.
• Players cannot cancel Waystation building proposals placed from crafting tables and shops. The team is investigating this.

⚠ The Happiness System for crafting is still in development. Crafting happiness influences Storm Resistance but the full system is not yet complete.
