Name change: In version 14.6, Sprites were renamed to Blots and Sprite Charms were renamed to Blot Bells. This was done to reduce confusion with Spirits.
Older guides or posts referring to 'Sprites' mean the same thing as Blots.
Blots are small collectible creatures found throughout the Wilderness. Catching them rewards you with Ink, which is used in crafting and dyeing. Each Blot has an Angst rating — higher Angst means more Ink and a better score in tournaments.
Types of Blots
- Standard Blots — common, found throughout the Wilderness.
- Mystery Blots — unpredictable movement.
- Bouncing Blots — move in bouncing patterns, require good timing.
- Roaming Blots — travel across larger areas; you may need to follow them.
- Giant Blots — rare and legendary. Spawn in the Wilderness and move every 15 minutes. Best caught with a group.
How to Catch a Blot
- Equip a Blot Bell (formerly Sprite Charm) from your inventory.
- Approach the Blot carefully.
- Use your Blot Bell to lure and catch it.
💡 Giant Blots are worth organizing a group for. They are Legendary rarity and give significantly better rewards — but they move every 15 minutes, so act fast.
Blot Catching Tournaments
There are two Blot catching tournaments available in-game. Rankings are based on the Angst rating of the Blots you catch — higher Angst means a higher score.
