Note: This only works for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
Note: You cannot currently re-import a file exported in this manner. So this isn't currently a way of backing up your progress. The primary reason you'd do this is if you need to send your save file to our Support team.
- Go to the game's Title Screen. Open the Options Menu there, NOT from within the game world.
- Tap the word "Options" 7 times within 5 seconds.
- Players on version 2.0.1 and higher will have an additional screen on which they should tap Export. Players on lower versions won't have this screen because the game will automatically assume that they want to export.

- An iOS screen should come up that says "cozy_grove_data" at the top, and has some other stuff below it.
- Scroll up/down to to find the "Save to Files" option and tap it.
- Another iOS screen should come up giving at least two options: iCloud Drive and On My iPhone. Tap On My iPhone.
- If you're tech savvy enough to choose the other options, fine. You'll have to adapt somewhat as this guide will assume that you put it in On My iPhone.
- Tap the word "Save " in the upper-right corner. Make sure not to accidentally tap the folder icon next to it by mistake!
- If a "Replace Existing Items?" popup comes up, tap Replace. If not, don't worry about it.

- The iOS screens will go away and you'll see a Cozy Grove popup saying either "Exported" (version 2.0.1 and higher) or "Data file copied to the system clipboard" (versions 2.0.0 and lower). Tap OK to dismiss this popup.
- Switch to your email app.
- I will assume that you're using the Mail app that comes standard with iOS. If you're using another email app then you'll have to figure it out on your own--we don't know every email app.
- Begin an email to support@spryfox.com , or begin a reply to such an email if you're already communicating with us. Fill out the subject and body of the email as you normally would. Two things it would be helpful to mention in the email are what the problem is and which Save Slot you're having problems with (unfortunately the example below does not do the latter).
- Move your cursor to the end of the Body text if it's not there already.
- In the toolbar above your virtual keyboard, tap the icon that looks like a dog-eared page.
- An iOS window will come up. I can't say for certain which window it will be on--it will be different for each person. But all possibilities have a Browse button in the lower-right corner. Tap that.
- You will now be on a iOS window, and for sure you'll be in a list. Scroll through the list to find "On My iPhone" and tap it.
- You will now be on an iOS window: the On My iPhone page. Scroll around on this page until you find a document named cozy_grove_data.sf. Tap it.
- You will now be back in the Mail app, and you should see the document attached to the email. If not, cancel the email and try steps 9-14 again.
- Tap the Send button to send your email.
