| ℹ️ Friendship and gifting were significantly expanded in version 15.1: the Friendship level cap was raised to 15, new track rewards were added, and the gifting system was redesigned. |
Crosslanders are the NPC residents of Spirit Crossing — Villagers and other characters you meet in the world. Building Friendship with them unlocks rewards, new shop offerings, and deeper interactions. Gifting is the primary way to grow Friendship quickly.
Friendship levels
Your Friendship level with each Crosslander increases as you interact with them — through gifting, completing quests, and spending time in the world. As of version 15.1, the cap is Level 15.
| Friendship level | What it unlocks |
| Level 1+ | Basic interactions and initial shop access. |
| Higher levels | New shop offerings, additional coin trade options, Dye Unlocks, Patterns, Songs. |
| Level 15 (max) | Full Friendship track rewards unlocked. |
| 💡 Levelling up Friendship also unlocks new items in that Crosslander's shop — so it pays to get to know everyone. |
Gifting
Giving gifts to Crosslanders is the main way to increase Friendship quickly. Every gift gives positive Friendship — but the bonus varies based on how well the gift matches the Crosslander's preferences.
| Gift type | Effect on Friendship |
| Favorite Gift | Highest bonus Friendship — the Crosslander loves it. |
| Liked Gift | Bonus Friendship above the base amount. |
| Disliked Gift | Still gives positive Friendship, just less of a bonus. |
Higher-rarity gifts also give more Friendship regardless of preference tier. Check a Crosslander's profile to see which gifts they like and love.
Gift Actions
You have 3 Gift Actions per day, shared across all Crosslanders. You can give all 3 to the same Crosslander, spread them across several, or save them up — unused Gift Actions accumulate over time up to a maximum of 15.
| 💡 Tip: If you've been away for a few days, you'll have saved up Gift Actions. Use them when you return to catch up on Friendship progress. |
