Note: only non-consumable purchases (things that can't be used up) can be restored. In particular, coins cannot be restored through the means described here. If you have lost coins that you've purchased, we are very sorry, but we do not have a way of restoring these to you. The following are examples of purchases that can be restored:
- Unlimited Turns (and anything that gets unlocked along with them, such as the extra maps)
- The "All Animals" bundle
- The "Winter", "Spring", and "Fall" graphics
Restoring purchases from the Google Play Store
Versions 2.0.0g and higher
The app should automatically restore all relevant purchases/subscriptions when the app launches IF your app is successfully talking to the Google Play Store with the same account that made the purchase.
- Because the app does automatically tries to restore when the app launches, we have removed the Restore Purchases button from the Options menu. The button was redundant since you'd have had to launch the app in order to click the button!
If you launch the app and don't see your purchases/subscriptions restored, please try the following.
- Using the directions on this page, make sure that Triple Town is talking to the Google Play Store. The following steps won't work unless they are talking.
- Using the directions on this page, make sure that Triple Town is using Google Play account that originally made the purchase. The bottom of that page has instructions for switching accounts if you find that you're logged in with the wrong account.
- If have more than one email address, unfortunately we can't help you to figure out which one was used for making the purchase. Google's customer support team may be able to help you, or you may be able to figure it out by checking your transaction history for each account.
- Fully exit the app. Then relaunch it.
- If your purchase still isn't activated, please email support@spryfox.com a screenshot of the email address from when you followed the directions in Step 2. Please also mention in the email that restoring from Google Play Store isn't working and which items you expected to be restored that have not been restored.
Versions 1.90.6g and lower
To restore purchases from Google Play, please try these steps (note: these are sequential steps--do them in order, one after the other):
- If the game isn't already installed on your device, install it from Google Play. If it is already installed, fully exit the Triple Town app by following the instructions on this page.
- Start the Triple Town app.
- If you are immediately put into the initial tutorial, play through it. You will not have access to some of the buttons used in later steps until the tutorial is completed. You can tell whether the tutorial is completed because the in-game Store button is clickable, and the button with the gear icon is also clickable.
- If you're not sure which account you made the purchase under, email support@spryfox.com and let us know which email addresses the purchase might be under. We can look for any Spry Fox purchases made by the addresses you provide and let you know which one to use.
- Tap the button with the gear icon to open the game's Options menu. Then tap the orange button next to where it says either "Restore Unlimited Turns" or "Restore Purchases". (The locations and names of these buttons have changed slightly as the game has evolved, so look below for the screenshots most representative of your game.) Also, for some reason this doesn't always work the first time, so please try a few times before giving up.
- If your purchase still isn't activated, please email support@spryfox.com a screenshot of the email address from when you followed the directions in Step 5. Please also mention in the email that restoring from Google Play Store isn't working and which items you expected to be restored that have not been restored.
