How Do I Install Steam on Windows?

Please follow these directions to install Steam on Windows (email support@spryfox.com if you have questions):

1. In a web browser, go to http://store.steampowered.com/about/
   
   
   
2. Click the Install Steam Now button or link appropriate to your operating system.
   
   
   
3. The web browser will ask you what you want to do with a file named SteamSetup.exe. What you should do is save the file to your computer (the screenshots here are from the Mozilla Firefox web browser; your web browser's process may differ slightly). Make sure that you remember where you save it!
   
   
   
   
   
4. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the SteamSetup.exe file that you just saved. Double-click it to run it.
   
   
   
5. The Steam Setup Wizard comes up. Click Next to begin.
   
   
   
6. Accept the License Agreement, then click Next.
   
   
   
7. Pick your Language, then click Next.
   
   
   
8. Click the Install button.
   
   
   
9. Check the box to Run Steam, then click the Finish button.
   
   
   
10. When Steam launches, it first tries to download any relevant updates. Wait for it to do this.
    
    
    
11. Continue waiting...
    
    
    
12. Continue waiting...
    
    
    
13. Done! Steam is now installed on your computer.
