How can I look up my game's version number if I cannot get to the Options Menu? (Any app; Android, iOS, tvOS)

If you can, please get the version number from the game's Options Menu. If you can't access the game's Options Menu, then please follow the steps below.

Note: This document uses Alphabear as an example, but the same general idea applies to all apps.

Do this on Android:

1. Open the "Settings" app. (Yours may be located in a different place.) Note: It should be the "Settings" app, not the "Google Settings" app which is different.
   
2. Click "Apps"
   
3. Click Alphabear.
   
4. The version number should be displayed somewhere on this screen.
   

Do this on iOS:

1. Open the Settings app
2. Click "General"
3. Depending on your device, click either "Usage" or "Storage & iCloud Usage"
4. In the "Storage" section, click "Manage Storage"
5. All of your apps should be listed. Find Alphabear (or whichever game's version you need to know) in the list. Click it.
6. The version number is listed under the app title.

Alternative on iOS if the above section doesn't work

1. Open your App Store app.
   
2. Switch to the Search tab.
   
3. Search for Alphabear.
   
4. Go to the Alphabear page.
   
5. Click the Details tab.
   
6. Make a note of the icon shown below. In Step 8 we're going to find a version number. If the icon here says Update, you don't yet have the version from Step 8 (which is still useful information). If it shows a cloud, then you already have the version from Step 8.
   
7. Scroll down to find the Version.
   
8. This is the most recent version of Alphabear available to you. From Step 6, you should be able to tell Tech Support that you either have this version or don't yet have this version.
   

Do this on tvOS

1. Open your App Store app.
2. Switch to the Search tab.
3. Search for Alphabear.
4. Click to go to the Alphabear page.
5. Make a note of whether there is an option to Update. In Step 7 we're going to find a version number. If you have the option to Update, you don't yet have the version from Step 7 (which is still useful information). If you don't have the option to Update, then you already have the version from Step 7.
6. Scroll down to find the Version field. It's in the Information section.
7. This is the most recent version of Alphabear available to you. From Step 5, you should be able to tell Tech Support that you either have this version or don't yet have this version.
