Where is my Alphabear: Hardcover Edition save file? (Mac and Windows versions only)

Windows

1. In the Steam application, go to the Library tab.
2. Right-click Alphabear: Hardcover Edition and click Properties.
3. In the Properties window that comes up, go to the Local Files tab.
4. Click the Browse Local Files button.
5. This should open Windows Explorer and will put you in this folder: [could be different for every person]\Steam\steamapps\common\Alphabear
   
6. Navigate up three levels, so you're at [could be different for every person]\Steam
7. Then drill down to [could be different for every person]\Steam\userdata\[some number]\644080
   • Please send us the file "remotecache.vdf"
8. Drill down into the "remote" folder.
   • Please send us the file "content.dat"

Please send us those two files: remotecache.vdf and content.dat. Those two combined are basically your save file.

Mac

Use the Finder (CMD+Shift+G)

• Navigate to ~Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/[userid]/644080/
  • Note that the Library folder might be hidden, in which case you will have to unhide it before you can drill down into the Application Support folder and below.
  • Please send us the file "remotecache.vdf"
• Drill down into the "remote" folder.
  • Please send us the file "content.dat"
