Windows
- In the Steam application, go to the Library tab.
- Right-click Alphabear: Hardcover Edition and click Properties.
- In the Properties window that comes up, go to the Local Files tab.
- Click the Browse Local Files button.
- This should open Windows Explorer and will put you in this folder: [could be different for every person]\Steam\steamapps\common\Alphabear
- Navigate up three levels, so you're at [could be different for every person]\Steam
- Then drill down to [could be different for every person]\Steam\userdata\[some number]\644080
- Please send us the file "remotecache.vdf"
- Drill down into the "remote" folder.
- Please send us the file "content.dat"
Please send us those two files: remotecache.vdf and content.dat. Those two combined are basically your save file.
Mac
Use the Finder (CMD+Shift+G)
- Navigate to ~Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/[userid]/644080/
- Note that the Library folder might be hidden, in which case you will have to unhide it before you can drill down into the Application Support folder and below.
- Please send us the file "remotecache.vdf"
- Drill down into the "remote" folder.
- Please send us the file "content.dat"
