Does Alphabear: Hardcover Edition work with Steam Deck? (ABHCE)

As of the time I write this, Alphabear: Hardcover Edition came out long before the Steam Deck and was never tested by us on Steam Deck or updated after the Steam Deck came out. So we can't say firsthand whether it works or doesn't.
As of the time I write this, Steam's refund policy (which you can read about here https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/5FDE-BA65-ACCE-A411 ) would give you enough time to purchase the game, see if it's compatible, and get it refunded if it isn't compatible.
Please check the policy now to make sure this is still the case.
Their policy had both a "total time played" component and a "time since purchased" component, so make sure that you don't wait too long to see if the game works for you.
On 2022-11-25, a player shared the following comment with us regarding their personal experience on Steam Deck: "It's looking great so far, both with touchscreen and trackpad. Can't see any immediate issues. Certainly more playable than plenty of games labelled as such on Steam deck!"
