Can other family members or friends play the game?

Early Start Group: If the child is assigned to the Early Start group, the game is for the exclusive use of the child who is enrolled in the study for the 6 weeks of the study. We need to limit usage of the game to this child so that we can understand the results of the child’s exit survey based on how and how much they used the game. Parents are always encouraged to observe their child playing the game both during and after the study. But we advise no help or support while the child is playing the game. We also ask that other children not be allowed to access the game until after the child completes their exit survey which concludes the study. After the study, the family will retain access to this version of the game for free and without ads for 3 months; all family members and friends are invited to play the game at that time.

Late Start Group: If the child is assigned to the Late Start group, the game will not be available to the child until after the child completes the exit survey. At that time, the child and family will have access to this version of the game for free and without ads for 3 months; and can share the game with their family and friends.
