Shrubs will not spawn quite so much (i.e. no more Weedmageddon), and the greens you receive from chopping down those shrubs will have greater value to you, as young animals are more likely to want to eat them.

Previously, there was a very high chance that NEITHER a nut or berry plant would be available for sale on any given day.
